I loved the Old Man and the Sea. It provokes me to think even now, and I tell folks about it. You? I see you liked it. Are you training your dog?

What a wonderful kitten, she is so good. Eats every four hours during the day then eats at 10 or 10:30 p.m. and sleeps until I get her up in the morning, good girl. I should be at the shelter right now but physically exhausted today, the classrooms keep me running from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 or 2:30 p.m. Not much energy to walk dogs, my feet hurt. Hope to have some help soon, getting a parent to come in. I wish it were tomorrow. Have fun. Wendy

yeah, it used to be but yesterday I took a kitten home, two weeks old. Kim was leaving it out back hoping it would DIE, some sick people in this world. I brought it home, warmed it up, fed it, potty it and it is doing great. Other than being up around the clock to feed it every FOUR hours, I'm doing fine. Going to Emery's at 3 today and back home tomorrow at 10:00, get my shopping done for work and rest a little I hope before returning at 3 p.m and stay until Monday @5:30 a.m. when I return to work, not sure how I will feed it there but will find a way that works. It reminds me of "The Color Purple" and enjoyable enough just haven't found the time lately to read at all. I have several started and will take with me to Emery's this weekend, if I'm not crocheting, knitting or cleaning, I listen to him or let him watch t.v and I read. Wendy

Howdy, did you read the other New York books? I liked them as well, but Dreamland was my favorite of his. You should grab a pencil and draw, its fun. Just don't try it on an elliptical machine.

I have not read The Night Inspector or for that matter even heard of it. Sounds like one I will get. Thanks for the "heads up" on that one!! I highly reccomend Shooter. I read it before the movie, then read it after the movie. The book is much better and is the first in a series on "Bob Lee Swagger." Stephen Hunter also has a series on Bob Lee's father. Stephen Hunter is a very good author. I highly reccomend them.

Hi julie s, That's my dog Jasper...I call him "Wookie" though. He is half standard poodle and half bouvier.(I don't know if i spelled that right!) and he is the best dog I have ever had. He is very smart, listens well, and is a real pleasure to have in our family. He looks different after he has been to the groomer. His hair gets real long and shaggy if we let it grow.
