Well hello there!
I'm Jeanne. I'm a third year student at Macquarie University. For two years I studied Egyptology but now I study politics. I love Egyptology but I can't see myself in research for my entire life. I have an overly caring nature (not bragging but I once cried when I saw a new machine to sheer sheep on tv which picked up the sheep and hung them upside down on a conveyor belt... it was so cruel! I seriously cried.) so I want to work in development and humanitarian departments of NGO's. I'm hoping to work for the UN. Or for the Australian Government, but not as a politician.
I love to read! I also love to write. Since I started uni I don't read or write enough, however I find I am having more ideas for stories when I'm suppose to be studying *shrugs* Typical!
I hated reading as a child but when I read Hitler's Daughter by Jackie French I found I loved reading.
My favourite books so far are;
1. Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder
2. Rachel Morgen Series by Kim Harrison
3. Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yenn Mah
4. Axis Trilogy by Sara Douglass.
5. Twilight by Stephanie Meyer (the first book is my favourite)
I also adore classics. Jane Austin is Love! I also love ancient texts like Ovid, Virgil, Homer etc.
My favourite genres are Fantasy and Sci-fi as well as Horror but only if it's paranormal.
