Wow, that's crazy stuff. I hadn't heard anything about Jim, glad he's ok. Your sis doing ok? I'm sure that was extra traumatic for her. Josh was at 24 for a couple years, and he's in the band, but right now he's living back in Memphis. He's been going to pilot's school, and he's engaged to Katie, the girl he's been dating for like 8 years now. Zach is married and has two kids, he's plugged in here at 24 and doing well. Crazy stuff! It's kinda weird when all your old students are getting married. But I'm on roommate number 11 right now and I'm hoping he's the one to break the curse. The other 10 are married now.
Thanks, I really appreciate it, and wow that was quick! I've been working on a website for our band at church the last several days; I think it came out pretty good. You should check it out: http://makingmalorie.comAlso, I have a random question. Do you listen to much music on your computer? If you do, you should start using last.fm. I love it!
I would love to see your design stuff that you're doing for Andy whenever that stubborn lady can get things up on the web. I laughed out loud at your "political church bullcrap" comment. Hope you don't have to go postal on her. I'm glad to hear that church is going good. I'm not really sure what a discipleship pastor is, but I'm excited for you. One of the last times, we talked you said it was hard sometimes and that the teaching was sometimes so-so. I really hope you are growing and getting feed.Lighter Note: I'm going to my 10 reunion in October!!! How crazy is that!!!
Sounds awesome! It's been cool to see you become so passionate about teaching over the last several years. Things here are pretty good. I've been pretty busy lately trying to finish up this curriculum I'm writing and I've been doing web design and graphic design for Andy down at Temple. It's been slightly frustrating on the web side because the lady that manages their web stuff is being stubborn from what I can tell. I just don't have any patience for any political church bullcrap these days after working at a first baptist church for 3.5 years. But I think it's all going to work out. Church stuff here is good, but challenging, I'm having to learn how to be a discipleship pastor because I've never done that before. Some days I like it, some days I don't, but it's good overall.
So teaching books and Francine Rivers huh?
