Marci

I have developed a love of books. It all started when I began taking my step-children to the library. I decided that I would start reading "classics", things I should have read in high school, but didn't. When I went on bedrest with my twins I read The Work and the Glory series and loved it. I read more now than ever. It took me awhile to... more »

Marci, Hey I noticed that you rated the Shack one star. I just bought it as an audio book for my ipod. I havn't had the time to listen to it so will it be a waste of my time?

I wanna hear more about Midnight Sun! I can't take it anymore! and I keep watching all these youtube videos about Twilight and i watch the same stuff over and over again. Grrr....there is like on good new moon video that someone made. It's obviously not the actual movie. They just stole scenes from other movies with those characters and put a video together and i wanted to cry cuz it shows when edward leaves and bella is really sad.

Hi--Sorry, sometimes Shelfari goofs. I'd just checked "yes" to read "Wuthering Heights" and the page where I can write a note didn't come up. For once I remembered the name--yours--so here's my note. I'm rereading it now and while it's sort of dark, it's also quite wonderful. It's a story told from multiple points of view. I remember when I read it the first time I kept getting confused about who was speaking. It's a little easier this time around, a bunch of years later. Emily Bronte fashioned quite a love story (not to that part yet) between Heathcliff and Cathy and found an interesting way to tell it.
