I'm halfway done with The Hunger Games and I love it already! I don't know why it took me awhile to read this book. I've already ordered Catching Fire and will probably get my copy next week.

Haven't read of the group yet. Are they new? What kind of music do they perform? I'm totally digging the song Broken by Lifehouse (the soundtrack of the movie The Time Traveler's Wife). The song has an emotional pull for me. I love it!

I did watch The Twilight Movie but quite disappointed with it. I've only finished until New Moon but will probably try and see the movie because of Jacob Black. ^_^ I want to know how he has transformed for the movie from what he looked liked in Twilight.

That's insane. *laughs* But I also do that when the theaters is going to premiere one of the movies I'm dying to watch. It's very hard to get good seats nowadays. ^_^

    Ali,

It's so good to hear from you.♥

I'm so glad you truly enjoyed the manga. I liked the anime but I must admit that I truly appreciated the story of Fruits Basket after reading the manga. Those scenes you mentioned makes me want to read the series again. :) I just truly love Kyo and what happened to his relationship with Tohru.♥ He deserves to be happy after what he has gone through. And yeah, about Yuki, I liked the fact that he found someone else too. If I remember it right, I think she was the girl in their class.

I see you've read a lot of good books lately. I'm going to look for the books you recommended. :) I have lots of books I want to read in the days to come. I have The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I can't wait to start them especially The Hunger Games, since I've read wonderful reviews about this book and the second book in the series titled Catching Fire. Have you read it?

Hope to hear from you soon Ali.

    Take care.♥

    Hello Ali,

    How are you?

It's so good that you've finished Fruits Basket. I told you it's amazing. It's better than the anime series in my honest opinion. I love all the characters but I have a soft spot for Kyo. I just love his character very much. He's my favorite.♥

What have you been up to lately? Have you read any good books?

Hope to hear from you soon. Have a nice day! :)

    I KNOW!!!!!!!!! ♥

The manga is actually more addicting than the series. For me, the manga had a deeper and more wonderful story that would actually make you more addicted. ♥

Tell how it went. Have you finished the entire series?

I did! I'm driving myself nuts on here trying to find a book to read! I want something with kind of the same feel as Tairen Soul, or at least an awesome love story. I read the first couple chapters of your "dark" series, but I didn't really like it. I need something with like a fight, or struggle for hope, but still with the epic love story. Got it? lol Anything Twilight/Tairen Soul~ish

Yea i will get around to giving Kate Daniels and Ilona Andrews a try.
I really like the SEP books, havent read any for awhile though. I particually liked the Texas ones. I love Richelle Mead with the Vampire Academy and i cant wait for the next one, the ending really had me hooked. I havent read any of the Georgina Kincaid books, what they like?

Wow thats a hard one. At the moment it would have to be Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead and Rachel Morgan by Kim Harrison. The last 2 are mainly because i am currently reading the new Kim Harrison so its fresh in my mind and the Richelle Mead ones because they are my new series. What are yours?

Hi! What you've written in your profile is definitely interesting. I'm 21 by the way. So you love Sweeney todd? Me too. But i must admit me and my friend watched the movie version because we love johnny depp! haha..Anyway about fanfiction. I haven't read any but some of my friends do like to write fanfiction on animes, which frankly, does not interest me. However, I am sometimes interested on fanfic on book characters. I once browsed the net, at that time i just finished hp book 5 and some fans were writing a speculative story about a possible love connection between luna and harry!!! truth is, that thought has crossed my mind too....well, hope to hear from you again..glad to be your friend.=0)

Hi! I've heard only good things about the Tairen Soul series. I looked at the first book for weeks at a used book store, then when I decided to buy it, someone beat me to it! I think it's about fairies, right? I love reading anything about the fae-my favorite fantasy creature.

I have to read the latest book about Morganville, Lord of Misrule. I started reading it but got sucked into The Russian Concubine instead. Then I read Forest of Hands and Teeth.

I haven't read any of the Weather Warden books yet. Usually what I do is put the first book in the series on my TBR and if I like it, I'll add the rest. I learned the hard way with Laurel K. Hamilton. I put all of her fairy series on my TBR and the first book, in my humble opinion, was just plain horrible. I had to go back and delete the others.

I haven't read the Thorn St. Croix books yet. I believe I added them a long time ago. In fact, I'm not even sure which ones they are :D I'll have to read about them again. Sometimes I like to make lists of books to read, reviewing my shelf because there are so many on my TBR. Often I forget about books added a while ago and just choose from the latest ones.

I just finished The Forest of Hands and Teeth. I'll give it 3 stars just because it kept me turning pages out of curiosity only. I didn't care about the characters. They lacked depth and the reader is stuck in the main character's head too much. She prattles on about the same things constantly and it gets boring rather quickly. The book needed more dialogue with the other characters or better skill at writing to make the reader feel the emotions. I love books that whisk me away into another world, feeling the emotions as if I were in the story. This book didn't do that at all. I was only curious to see how it would end. The author has the "hooks" down but needs to work on varying her expressions and vocabulary and learning how to make us fall in love with the characters.

Thanks for the offer of friendship! Talk to you soon!

Yes, I read Angel's Blood and loved it! Nalini Singh is a fantastic author! I like the Psy-Changeling series a little better because the books have more romance, but Nalini said the angels' books are different and urban fantasy, so there ya go. :)
I read Moon Called and liked it, but I think it's a little too tame for me. Lol! I can see how so many people like the books, but I'm unsure if I'll buy the next one.
I'm too lazy to see which O'Shea book I bought, but will let you know later. I have not read it yet.
Oh, are you talking about Jeaniene Frost's books? If so, then yes, I have read all of them. I love, love, love this series! Cat and Bones ... what can I say... yummy! What did you think???? In fact, I'm reading them again and just finished the books.
    Write soon, girl!

I didn't take it as rude at all!!! Just regular discussion!
My shelf is pretty large :-) Books are my only hobby/collection and my husband supports it alot ;-)

I didn't think Industrial Magic was boring at all. I just finished it up the other day and it was just as good as the rest. Alot of people said they didn't like the witch books in the series as much as the rest, but I thought they were great :-)
If you liked Dime Store Magic then you will like Industrial Magic as well!

Thanks for those recommendaions..I have jotted them down and will keep an eye out for them. I have over 60 books on my shelf now, that are strickly books I "Plan to Read". Right now, I'm trudging through Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain...my daughter recommended it because she just read it for school. I can't let her down. It's just an okay read (almost), but definitely not a page-turner...nor my style...in fact, it keeps putting me to sleep!

I'm on with you on the "Did not Finish" option. ♥ I hope Shelfari would add that category to the shelf. There are also books that I included in my shelf but I haven't really finished reading them. I hope Shelfari would look into our suggestions. And I also know of a lot of people who would be very pleased when that happens.

Wow! I didn't know there will be a sequel. When will it be released? I need to read The Hunger Games before the sequel comes out. Oh, I really can't wait! :)

I was hoping for a second season too. But I've read the manga where the anime left off and it was so much better. I loved it! :) You should read it soon Ali.♥

    Ali,
I should have the next two books in Frost's series next week. Yeah!
Yes, the Gardella Vampire Chronicles are the books I'm talking about. Really liked 'em.
And I have the first books in Alexis Morgan's Paladins of Darkness series, but haven't read it yet.
I'm reading Singh's Angel's Blood and love it! Normally I would have finished it one day, but I'm reading it slowly because I don't want it to end. :)It is different from her other series, but that's great because I wouldn't want all of them to be the same. Nalini is an awesome writer!!
Today I ordered one of Patti O'Shea's books, but I've never read her, so we'll see. Also ordered Moon Called by Patricia Briggs - never read her books, but there are great reviews on them.
    Great talking to you. :)

Absolutely, yes I do plan on reading all of them when I get them into my possesion! I'll have to check out the books that you read and check out your favorites. What inspires your reading? I am always seeking a really good page turner....something I can't put down. Do you have any recommendations? I'm on Facebook all the time...I'm completely addicted to Scramble Live. It's the most fun word hunt game ever! :)

I'll order one of Caine's books and see. They sound really good and I've read great reviews on them. Have you read Jeaniene Frost's books? I've read the first one and like it a lot. She's a kick butt chick, too. :) And Bones is hot!
I've been unsure on Keri Arthur, but will probably try one of hers too. What about Patricia Briggs?
I finished Colleen Gleason's books and loved that series. About to read Nalini Singh's new series on angels and it looks fantastic! Have you read it? Oh, and read Acheron finally. Wish I had read it sooner - he's such an interesting character.
Also got a couple of the Drake Sisters books by Feehan, and one by Alexis Morgan, but haven't read them yet.
    Peace,
    joey
