How're you man? Have you finished the Sophie's World? And how's everything going on. I have just bought a dvd player and sick of watching the glamorous holly wood package movies my friends recommend me. I wonder if you can recommend me some nice movies. Do write me back. Take care.

    Salam
Sorry for such a late response, I’m also pasting my views regarding Sophie’s world here; In case if you don’t go to the group.

Sir In spite of all my efforts I haven’t yet finished it. The problem is, it has so many philosophers and their theories that you can’t hold them at a time. Besides that the story has its thrills not like Dan Brown’s story (story wrestling with the tidbits of information). Jostein’s story beautifully encompasses the complexity of the subject….. The other thing is he doesn’t want to just show off his knowledge but he sincerely wants to tell his audience something about the philosophy. I guess going unhurriedly, with a support of other books and a little meditation can open so many doors of wonders….. I’m anxiously waiting for the end but I don’t want to waste that book just because of my curiosity. That’s why I’m also reading some other relevant material such as definitions and biographies. But it’s totally optional….. I would recommend you go for it again take your time and just try to remember the key terms.

Kafka is really great. You can’t imagine after reading his metamorphosis I dug up all the books shop in Lahore in the pursuit of his books. Some people say Kafka was a pessimist chap and his books usually have a toxic impact on your mind. I usually reply them that suffering has its own pleasure. What do you think about Kafka?
