I want to ask a blog question. Hopefully it's pretty simple. How is it that you strikethrough your text? I'd love to "cross out" books I've read but can't figure out how! If you have time to tell me, or send me where I can go to learn that'd be Super! thanks

Just letting you know that I am your score monitor for Lay it On. If you have any questions regarding rules or scoring please send me a private message with your concerns. Please don't use the administrator function- those emails go to all the administrator's, with private messages we won't be getting emails from all the teams when ever there is a question - just the teams we are monitoring. Makes it a little less confusing ;0)

Great! If you have any questions about the scoring, just let me know and I'm sure between the two of us we'll figure it out. ;)
As soon as everyone votes, I'll post the results.

We had some ties in our polls, so I've created a couple of tie breakers. The links are in 2 new threads over at the group. If you could vote as soon as you can, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

    Hey there

I got a 'book chain letter' in the mail from Karilly and was wondering if you'd want to participate. Basically, what it is is I send you the letter, w/karilly's address, you pick a preloved book (already read) to her then send out six letters to friends w/my name on the back. In reality you should get 36 books. I usually don't do these, but it's books. LOL let me know:)

Is it ok with you if I post a link from my blog to yours? I think yours is cool. I'm trying to find a way to make mine a 3 column. I found a template today, and followed the directions. When I was done, and previewed my blog, all I saw was text and html codes. Ack!! I broke into a cold sweat and after about 15 minutes of panicked undo's etc. I got it back to what it is now. I've been trying for a 3 column for a while, but to no avail yet. I'll keep trying though.

    Hi Kristi,
Sure you can borrow that quote. Although I didn't invent it. I remember getting an email and it was just one of those with smart quips and comments. I loved that one the most! I think it is very fitting to put in kids science books. They would definitely remember the concept of gravity faster. LOL

Thank you so much for your nice note and supportive thoughts. It really helped me get through the race knowing that folks were out there hoping I'd finish. I couldn't show my face if I didn't!!

I tried to train and run a marathon 3x BEFORE I finally ran one (this past Sept). I think you should try a triathlon (sprint distance); many people really like the multisport racing who came from running. It's getting very popular now.

For the swim, up here, a wetsuit is used. It's nice because it provides a lot of buoyancy and speeds you up quite a bit as well. But the swim was really, really tough for me - - intimidating. I just am bad at swimming and don't think I'm going to ever improve.
