Okay, click on the book while it is on your shelf. When the "I've read" box comes up, then just deselect the "I've Read" and leave it alone. That should do it.
It's great to hear from you! I hate to tell you this but I've no clue how to delete books. I tried just now and was unsuccessful. Let me ask.
