    Dear Marilyn:
    How are you and your family? My boyfriend, (Danny) and I are fine. Thank you for getting back to me about the book Flirting With Forty. Is Jane Porter a nice person? What genres of books do you enjoy most? Please write back. Sincerely, Judy

    The Ancient One says

    Earth Song

    Listen to things more often than beings.
    Hear the voice of the fire, hear the voice of the water,
    Listen in the wind to the sighing of the bush:
    This is the ancestors breathing.
    Those who are dead are never gone;
    The dead are not down in the earth:
    They are in the trembling of the trees,
    In the groaning of the woods,
    In the water that runs, in the water that sleeps,
    They are in the hut, they are in the crowd.
    Those who are dead are not ever gone;
    They are in the woman's breast, they are in the wailing of a child,
    They are in the burning log and in the moaning rock.
    They are in the weeping grasses, in the forest and the home.
    Listen to things more often than beings.
    Hear the voice of fire, hear the voice of water.
    Listen in the wind to the sighing of the bush.
    This is the ancestors breathing.

    Fantastic! I'm so thrilled that you like Taken by the Mav Mill. Whew!! What a relief!!!! Been holding my breath for fear people are disappointed because it's different to My Tall Dark Greek Boss.

    You've certainly had an interesting working life, Marilyn, and as for your reading life. Wow baby! You're in the fast lane there.

    I know exactly what you mean about getting hooked on the category romances, because I had the same experience. I fell madly in love with Lynne Graham's sensational heroes, and a few years ago I combed the world in search of everything she wrote. All her old numbers should be enshrined in the libraries of the world for the works of art they are, I think.
    I wrote to her once and she very kindly wrote back to me. I kept that email for years!

    Then I read Cathy Williams' first book, and there was no holding me back.
    I actually put my shoulder out once carrying a bag of eighteen hardback M&Bs from the library!

    Anyway, I'd better get back to my charming Italian (he's not like Lynne's, except in terms of his gorgeousness).
    Looking forward to your review. I simply adored the way you posted the last one on so many sites.
    cheers

    Hi there Marilyn,
    At the moment I don't have a spare second to read anything apart from my screen, because I'm madly writing a book! This time I've gone for an Italian hero, and I'm having the most fun trying to put myself inside the skin of an Italian man.
    I see your random bookshelf collection has one rather unmistakable theme. I absolutely agree. Sandra's a beaut! (as we say in Oz.)
    cheers
