I see you read "Grieving the Death of a Mother." A good friend of mine (40 something) just lost her mother. Would you recommend this book for someone in that situation?
Hi Surfer 66--I haven't read Janis Ian's book yet, but I look forward to doing so. Glad to see that you gave it a good review.
Welcome to the Chiller group! Ou authors for August are Stephen King and Dan Simmons. Feel free to read any of their books and post what you read, your review, etc. in the thread for August reads. If you do not want to participate that is fine too, just letting you know what is going on. There are also some other threads I want to tell you about. Introduce yourself, where you just tell all of us a little about yourself, and a title game is going on if you want to jump in there. There's also a book swap thread where members give away their books to other members all you have to do to join is add a post saying that you're interested. Feel free to start your own discussion posts and browse our growing group shelf.
Any questions at all just ask, same for suggestions or ideas. If you would like to be added to the list of people that receives group update notes, please add Diamondgirl as a friend and leave her a note letting her know that you want Chiller updates.

Hey, that is great. Which book was it? I think she actually lives somewhere in NC. , which is where i live now.
I have read or listened to all of the Patricia Cornwell books except the Jack the Ripper one. She is one of my favorites and we usually do audio books when we travel.
