I am a high school English teacher who naturally enjoys reading. My reading preference includes nonfiction and historical fiction that transports me to another place and time.

Hi! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Yes, I have had students read it. In fact, it is a choice on my summer reading list for seniors. They always respond favorably. Eugenides does so much to make the reader feel Cal's pain and turmoil.

Of course, I choose getting together! Are you able to meet me somewhere on 202? Maybe the Chester County Book Company (a long drive for me but worth it, I think.)? Anyday after August 7 would work for me.

Ah, your shelf is fabulous as well! I just finished The Shack and highly recommend it! I am finally reading A Thousand Splendid Suns and it ranks right up there with The Kite Runner and Bookseller of Kabul.

Would you recommend I read it? I saw it in the store and thought it looked good. What were you expecting?

Hi! I'm still trying to figure out how to move books around on my shelf. I am reading Ellen Foster and then I think I will move on to the Jack Gantos book I bought. Keep me posted on what you think of Middlesex.
