I don't think I'll be going... I have school and i'm just a poor college student :) But you'll have to let me know how it goes. And I'll let you know if I end up going. I think that would be so much fun! It sounds like a blast! But yes, Spike is good, but spike is spike, and I dont' like him for Buffy. He is really sweet, but i don't think he's even competition. I think it would be so cool to have a follow up Buffy and have her and Angel get back together. (and change it in the Angel series too)
Hello!!!
Oh its totally fine. I haven't been on until just now. But I am SOOO Jealous of that! I just barely got into it last summer and that pretty much got me through my senior year. That's pretty much all I would do was watch it. Where are you from? How did you hear about the conventions?? I really love it. I'm a geek too. Its crazy how much I love that show. I would seriously go through buffy withdrawls when I hadnt' seen it in a while. I just crave to watch it. I definitely love Becoming part 2 it is really emotional. I love books and movies that make me cry... It just means that I connected so much more with it. When I'm in a crying mood and need buffy (I swear, i really do need to watch buffy to keep my mind off of things) I like to watch becoming (both parts to get the full effect) and when her mom dies (the episode after she dies, the one at that funeral when angel comes back) I LOVE angel!!! I know that probably sounds ridiculous that I love it so much, but I don't know how to explain it.
Oh and HELLO! (I forgot to add that part too) and thanks for adding me as a friend.:)
Thanks So Much!!! You have a great shelf too! And oh my,... i LOVE buffy!! have you seen them all? Which ones do you like?

Hi,You asked about Garden Spells. I enjoyed the book as it had a different approach and was light reading with a good ending. Personally I do not like romance novels as they are just to unrealistic...this is as close as I will ever get to reading one!Now that isn't to say that this is a romance novel...but it is fun to read and has magic thrown in which is wonderful to read about for a change. I have a tendency to read very weighty long novels and about every 4th or 5th book will read something light like this one.Just so you know, she has a new book out called Sugar Queen...I was disapointed in that one.

I just had to say welcome to the Pop Culture Junkies Group where anything pop culture goes because everyone deserves a wee bit of welcome every now and again. Feel free to add any books to our bookshelf, start a discussion or take part in more of the discussions already happening. Every Monday we do a week in review, talk about our favorite films and TV shows we saw that week, recommend new music, and anything else we liked that weekend. Tuesdays are new release day for most pop culture stuff so I try to put up a list. Wednesday is our top five question which has ranged from our favorite fictional restaurant to eat at to top five superpowers. Of course beyond that we talk a bit about everything. Glad to know that there are other pop culture geeks out there. Good to have you. We have 64 books in common but some of those are some of my favorites. You have a great little eclectic shelf. Reminds me of my own. I think I found some more books to pile onto my to be read pile. By the way what did you think of Garden Spells. Havent picked it up yet but its in my wishlist.
