    Hi Chris,

I found that Memnoch was the last book that I really enjoyed reading from Anne Rice’s Chronicles. This may be due to this being the last book to really deal with Lestat. I have recently read the first of the two Blackwood Farm books that tie together the witch and vampire story lines and finally enjoyed another one of her novels. This is probably because Lestat was back in a good portion of the book.

I think it is worth reading if you have liked the other book in the series.

Hello Chris, thanks for the friend request.
There are a few books on you list that I have been thinking about picking up. It’s like the actor from my photo said “There’s never enough time”.

Sorry I took so long to respond - nope, no Peter Pan complex here. I've just been a little over-anxious to get older and do something already. I like my independence, and being a kid isn't exactly the definition of independence.

I can see the literary merit of Catcher, but I never identified with it. I couldn't understand why he fought against growing up and was so suddenly disillusioned. Maybe because I was always disillusioned in a way, even as a child. I've always been eager to grow up, and have never had a Peter Pan complex. So I identified with books like The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers and especially A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Have you read eiher of those?

Yeah like I said nothing to jump out of ur seat for just something to read to occupy ur time. I don't like starting things and not finishing them so I'm gonna read the 4th book. A friend of mine who shares our opinions (i believe ur of the same opionion now) that the book wasnt great read the fourth book and said it was crap and at some points it actually contradicted the other three...so I'm gonna borrow the book from her. The others are basically the same in my opinion except the second one seems like its trying to have more of a plot because Edward is absent for most of the book and so the love part is a bit absent. Are u plannin to read the others, or are u just gonna stop there??

I didn't even see that I had rated it three stars! I'm not sure how that happened...I changed it to 4 stars. It's a great book, but just not one of my favourites. :)

It is cool to hear from someone else who was also at that show. It was quite a night to remember huh?

And I apologize it took me so long to respond, I am not on here as much as I would like to be and sometimes I can go weeks without checking in.

This is true a lot of people have made a big deal about it more of a big deal than they probably should. So I think you should read it to and form your own opinion and if u watched the movie before u read it then who knows if u would want to read it then. Don't get me wrong I like it but as I said before its not anything to jump out of ur seat for. I want to talk more about this (as you can see bc ive practically written my own novel in this one post) but I don't want to give anything away...so let me know when ure done I want to hear ur thoughts....:-)

I usually recommend reading the book before watching any movie, and in this case I recommend the same. However this book is nothing to jump out of ur seat for, it's a decent good read. So if u have the chance to read it then I would say do that, but if u don't u don;t have to go out of ur way to read it. Hope that was helpful...:-)

Well, I gues it's just not my style of book. The dialogue made it very confusing and I think it took away from the story for me. It made it hard to get through and I like reading books that I can't put down, not books that I can't pick up.
