No its not that. Its that I left it in our NEW car and then my husband put it in the cooler in the trunk. and then removed it and put it in the garage. i went hunting for it and found it. i brought it upstairs and that's really when it got lost. lol i think its in the room cause I went to read it. but i think it fell behind the night stand. lolol
Katharine of aragon is a great book. its pretty lengthy but its so worth it. its basically the story behind henry the eights first wife. we often hear of anne boleyn, but this book is about the wife who anne replaced or rather who anne betrayed and de-throned. its very interesting so far. The second book I have misplaced. lol I will try to find it and finish reading. lol I will let you know more when I find it. lol
Hi MrsMommaG, welcome to Play Book Tag! I just want to let you know the activities that PBT currently has going on so that you can jump in and get involved! Firstly, every month a member picks a random tag from the top 200 Shelfari tags, July's tag is fairy tales. The members then read books that have this tag (or if you just think it fits in the genre that's good enough for us, we're not too picky) and posts short reviews of them on the discussion entitled July tag: our collective reads for our shelf. From there, intelligent conversation abounds...at the very least, interesting conversation abounds :) We are coming to the end of the month and August's tag will be announced on the 27th. If you are interested in getting in a fairy tale, there are lots of really cute children's books that qualify...perhaps a bedtime story for your 2.5 year old?!?
Second, we have a new game that started July 1: Tag it to the Max. This game is a bit more complicated but the general idea is that againstthetide(one of the admins) will randomly assign you a starting tag from the top 200 Shelfari tags. Then, you would work your way consecutively through the list, reading one book per tag and earning points for them as well as reviews. If you are interested, check out the full rules listed under the discussion Rules for Tag it to the Max. You can then sign up under the discussion Sign up for Tag it to the Max. This game has been underway for a couple of weeks thus far but is running through August so you still have plenty of time!
Answers to other commonly asked questions, as well as rules for some fun get-to-know-you games we often play can be found on the thread FAQ for new members. Also, you can always ask me or anyone of our helpful admins any questions that you may have!
I took a look at your shelf and noticed you have lots of Danielle Steele. She is one author I never got into but I do enjoy romance novels with a bit of a mystery thown in! Nora Roberts in my favorite! i also saw some Mary Higgins Clark. I have read many of her booms but unfortuntely haven't gotten to the last couple ones, I'm trying to be more diligent about using the library and sometimes her new ones are hard to get my hands on!
See you on PBT!
