I'm assuming this is THE Lois. On my way to the library...as if i'll be able to read a whole grown up book!
No someone gave it to me a long time ago and I was just looking at it and I thought it might be interesting. You will have to let me know if I should bother with it. I am reading the Breakdown Lane and I think it is pretty good.
I think you will truly love the Circle Trilogy, Black, Red and White. I would love to tell you what it's about but that would ruin it. I couldn't wait to get to the next book. It just keeping better. A must read. Of the many books I've read I think that This Present Darkness was one of the top 10. I know you will like it. I too have not been much of a fiction reader, but this last year I started with christian fiction - I was hooked when I started The Last Jihad by Joel Roenburg. It is the first of 4, excellent! I've spent most of my christian walk reading to increase my faith, belief and understanding of the Word - But lately I have found that a "story" ie, fiction, can sometimes tell a greater story. Much the way Jesus spoke in parables - they tend to enlighten the heart as well - if you have a good story teller. It has been nice meeting you - feel free to write again.Harvey
Hi Lois, I just read your review on Ted Dekker's House. I agree, I forced my way to about half the book but had to stop. Didn't finish it. Right now I'm going through all of his books. Love 'em. I see you've read a lot of the same books I have - I'm taking it you're a christian? Have you read any of Frank Peretti? This Present Darkness is great.
Why are you on the computer on a beautiful day like this?
I'll race you to 200 books!
