I see that you are reading that new book by Lynne Rae Perkin. When I was putting in a order yesterday for my school, I read a couple of reviews about the book but I couldn't decide if I wanted to get it or not. Let me know when you are finished and to see how you liked it.
Your member profile caught my eye. I really enjoyed the Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Have you seen Scholastic's web site-chock full of Hunger games supplements. Sounds like I need to start a Scholasatic fan page I know but I am a librarian who appreciates any extras that can help motivate readers.
Wow!! Where did you get a copy of Linger? Alyson will be jealous! She really liked Shiver!! She says to tell you she hopes it is good 8-)
Yes. Way busy. But it's been great. If you haven't read SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN, I think you might like it, although the chapter on the torture of foot binding is quite graphic. Ann and Alison both read it and liked it. Another spectacular cover for the new Twilight novella. One of these days I may read one. It was so easy to have you just tell me about the plot!
It's working, I have started reading it again, but my Spanish homework keeps getting in the way.
holy mole, talk about peer pressure, shit!
I LOVE your new profile picture!! Alyson and I both loved Catching Fire....perhaps better than the Hunger Games. I also loved The Adoration of Jenna Fox! I have been woefully neglectful of my Shelfari recently....must try to fix that problem soon!!
The work of an outstanding photographer. I was playing with the site trying to see what I could do - and -- Shazammmmm!!
Wow that's so cool. I would actually love it if any author would come to my town.
Oh man that's so cool! But i'm surprised only 100 people attended! I would've guessed a LOT more than that!
That's awesome! Man I wish she was coming to my bookstore lol!How was it? Did you get your picture taken with her?! :)
Oh that's so cool! Is she doing a book signing or something?
New Moon. Good for you!
i hope so!
you are awesome, what can I say!
How did you get so dare good at reviewing books?! I have read a few of your reviews and every single one makes me want to read the book and add it to my list.
It is good - brainwashing a generation of German youth who would narc on parents and teachers was essential to Hitler's New Order.
Thanks! I miss your informed help and great insights on YA lit, and our discussions across the desk. Take care of yourself. We miss you too.
