I am an avid reader that tends to read a lot of books about the same thing at a time. Currently I am reading all the Tudor stuff, I can get my grubby hands on, but I have been looking at a lot of renaissance stuff staring the Medici and Borgia familys. I also have found myself enjoying the regency time period, but my back ground is very limited as I haven't read much Jane Austen. I plan on reading more of her work as soon as I finish a couple of books.
I read several books at once, often both starting, and finishing them, within days of each other, this makes book shopping expensive.
I guess my favorite author would have to be Alison Weir, but a close second would be Philippa Greggory, even though I have only been interested in her Tudor stuff.
