    So far I'm enjoying it. Reminds me a bit like The Stand in its scope. Thank God it has a list of characters to keep the 50 or so characters straight.

    I agree that Brigg's Mercy series is terrific. You can't really compare them, IMO. I think the more this series goes on, the better it will be. Anna really grows a lot and becomes so much more confident and strong in this book, by the end. That will make the later books in this series more exciting and action packed, like Mercy's series. Personally though, I really enjoyed Hunting Ground. I don't know how far you've gotten in it, but it gets more exciting in the second half. The ending left me smiling and happily anticipating the next installment. I hope you start finding it more interesting soon.

    I am reading Retribution by Jeanne C. Stein right now. It's the 5th book in the Anna Strong, Vampire Chronicles. It's a really good series, too. I received Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning in the mail yesterday and almost dropped everything to start it, but I decided to test my will power and wait until I finish the book I'm reading first. LOL! Have you read the first 3 books in the "Fever" series yet? It's a fantastic series!

    Hi Vicki! I'm glad you found a copy! I pre-ordered mine from Amazon for my Kindle, so it downloaded after midnight on the 25th, the day it was released. It has seemed like such a long wait for this 2nd book in the series. I started it last night on my lunch break at work. I just love reading Patricia Briggs. She is such a good writer. I never have a problem getting into any books that she has written.

    So how are things with you? I guess your daughter is back to school, isn't she? School started here this past week, though I don't have any school age children now, the school buses are running when I go home in the mornings from work. Let me know how you like Hunting Ground when you get into it. Gotta go get ready for work. TTYL!

    I hope you enjoy it but I can see that this book is one you either like or hate. It is dark so stay with it. I almost gave it up but was glad that I made it to the end.

    I wish I still had them to send to you, but another buddy from PBS already had them on their wish list, so I sent them on to them. There wasn't a long wait when I ordered them, so maybe there won't be for you.

    I absolutely do recommend that you read The Passion! It's a really good book, and there is a sequel called The Promise that you should read, as well. I liked them both, but I think I might have liked the sequel a little better than the first book, though not by much. It's a very different take on the werewolf story than you usually see. It starts in the present day, then goes to the past and then returns to the present to tell the entire story. I loved them! If you decide to read them, let me know what you think.

    Hi, I've only just started Hybrid but I'll be sure to let you know what I think after I've finished it. It is a young adult vampire romance story, I haven't gotten too far into the story to say much more than that.

I kinda want to, but then again I'm not sure..its one of those iffy books, but I think I'm gonna give it a try.. :) I hope you like it, tell me if you think otherwise after you get finished with it!
