I finally had a chance to read The Mysterious Benedict Society! I loved it! There were smart, resourceful children who had to solve the mystery. Plus, it was full of adventure so that made it even better.
Yes! I'll let you know what I think after I read it...I've heard it's a great book!
After the plane ride here I only have two chapters left. Can't wait to finish it and then we'll have to see the movie together! Thanks for the great recommendation.
Welcome, Mom! What are your favorite reads from the summer? I've got a new recommended reading list from my roommate in CA last week... mostly adult reads, though, but I'm making it a personal goal to spend more time for myself reading this year, so I'll share my choices. :)
