LOL! I know, it's crazy isn't it? She still has the rest of her Junior year and all of her Senior year left but in May of 2011 she's be done with High School! She's been getting stuff from colleges in the mail a lot lately. She has one that she would REALLY like to go to but is keeping her options open. Right now she's trying to narrow down exactly what she wants to major in.

The drawing were great but it really didn't add anything to the story. If you are a fan of the Mercy Thompson fan then check it out. I liked it :D
I'll keep you posted on the Shifters series.

    Happy Halloween!

Homecoming was super short it took45 mins to read it. I liked it but I'm glad I didn't waste the money buying it.

I haven't read the Shirfters series yet but I'm thinking about starting it next month.

She's doing good so far. Finished up soccer season. They only won 2 games but we have very tough competition against much larger schools. Now we are starting basketball. She's a junior this year so that means only one more year after this one and then off to college!

honestly, i was really weirded out by the way the story unfolded...i just found it odd that main character didnt even have a clue before-hand of what she really is when there is a lot of clues obviously laid out for her...i mean drinking blood of animals at meal times?...it really didnt match her own shock when she knew she was a vampire...

Yeah, I realized I'd forgotten a lot, esp. exactly how things went down in Italy and leading up to it. Also realized exactly the moment I became a "Team Edward" gal ;)

Yes! I really enjoyed those books. They are YA, and pretty vanilla but they are a quick and enjoyable read. He also has another YA series called Daniel X. I've read the first book and have the 2nd, just haven't gotten around to reading it yet but.... Enjoyed the first one in that series also! I recommend both!

I bought it the day it came out. I traded it away on paperbackswap.com, I was the first one to trade it away. At least I made someone happy, lol. I guess I should have seen it coming.

Our library sucks. We don't get a ton of new books and they don't have the whole series either. I just end up buying and trading.

I just read "Shiver" and I love it. There wasn't much in the way of action but the love story was so adorable. The story is written from both of the main characters prospectives. It's nice to see what the guy is thinking. Have you read it yet?

I agree but I have to say I didn't see it coming. I wonder what Mercy's and Adam's mate bond is going to be, like their special connection. I think that alone will cause friction plus bringing Mercy into the pack is going to start a riot. You can already tell people aren't happy about it. Now I'm waiting for people to act on it. I'm just glad that Adam is the #4 man in the alpha structure. I don't want him killed off any time soon.

Have you read "Hunting Ground" yet? If so what did you think?

I haven't read "Homecoming" either. I have read the Alpha and Omega books but other than those I haven't read the other books from Patricia Briggs. I think my favorite book is a toss up between "Bone Crossed" and "Iron Kissed". I love the build of Adams and Mercys relationship. I love the whole story of "Iron Kissed" but I like Mercy coming into the pack and getting closer with Ben in "Bone Crossed", she just over came so muchin "Bone Crossed" that it's probably my favorite. I started to read Alpha and Omega to learn more about Bran and the whole pack structure. So far so good. What did you think of Stefan liking Mercy?

We share some of our favs. The Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur, Mercy Thompson, Kitty Norville, and Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris, and Anita Blake by LKH.

I'm just starting the Dark Huntress series today. I haven't even cracked the book open yet. I still need to get my hand on the last Anita Blake to finish that series.

I love the Mercy Thompson world. I can't wait to see where things go with Adam. They are just too cute together. Patricia Briggs better find someone great to hook Sam up with too. I'm having a hard time waiting for the next book. Did you read the graphic novel "Homecoming"?
