1) - Is Enz a pseudonym?
- Chose this name in 1978, while being psychologically wuxing (Japanese mushin), for phonetics: the noise which an object launched in l' could make; space. Then domiciled with Antwerp, j' noted qu' in Dutch the Enz orthography was the diminutive of and will cetera. Taking into consideration my successive existence in this life, this name corresponded to me perfectly.
2) Why Art of Self?
- In 1974, I noted by reading Essais on the Zen Buddhism, of Japanese Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki, that the interior, psychological state which I had reached was already conceptualized since of the centuries by Chinese Zen patriarchs, under the term of wuxing. It is of this state that one " reached " self and c' is of this state which my Article proceeds.
Enz is also an anagram of Zen. Enz all the more corresponded to me to be named.
3) But what means wuxing?
- I you references with the books of Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki, its tests and its Handbook of Zen Buddhism. Suzuki says to us that mushin means literally “not-mental” or “not-thought”, and that one could employ a circumlocution like “being released of the attachment to mental”. However, to seize that wuxing is ultimate to be released, it should be carried out. To apprehend intellectually is not enough.
4) - Your step is it of religious order or at least spiritual ?
- What one generally understands by spiritual too vague and is attached to a-priori. I prefer to say that I simply speak about the intelligence to be it and of the existence. However my approach could be considered field of what others name paranormal, state of consciousness modified. With that I would prefer that one indicates the elsewhere tachyonique one, this word elsewhere than Einstein had registered on the other side of the cone of light, beyond the absolute border of our universe. However, in truth my step is very different, because even this “elsewhere” is field of what the Buddhists name Mâyâ, the Illusion. But what does that want to actually say? For nothing is not used to seek to include/understand it intellectually, it should be seized by its own realization.
5) - What you by beyond the border of our universe hear?
- It is a question of seizing how we perceive finished, which we actually understand by finished. The infinite one compared to our finished, with our space time, such as the traditional astrophysicists hear it? For the alchemists it is about the Philosopher's stone, afterwards many destruction, of the calcinations, dead and the rebirths in the crucibles of the passages of coarse to subtle, to Pierre, the Jewel, it Oneself.
8) Your quotations of the books of Suzuki in general indicate your interest for the Asian culture?
- I have a visceral report/ratio with all that touches in Asia. It is as a remote family which I love and which I would find afterwards many adventures. Then to come on your premise, to expose my work in your country, to translate my writings in your language… In short! To divide with you, and by you with the whole of the men, such is my wish.
