Yes, I am from the midwest. "It becomes a social stigma when people don't act like they believe in these communities." Do you mean when they don't believe in these religions or something along those lines? Theres not many people who believe like i do in my town actually. Most of them are Catholic or Lutheran, and they don't actually have faith in anything...they just believe they are because they go to a church. There's only one Evangelical church in and around my community, and that's the one I go to.

You said that you were a Christian...what kind/religion do you mean? Catholics and Lutherans are different than me. I'm not really religious. I have a personal relationship with my savior, Jesus. I question things all the time and even ask these questions to my pastors. That's not wrong. Do you feel I have been angry in my responses? I have heard that Lutherans if you question their faith will ignore questions or get angry because they don't know the answer.

I also really encourage you to read A Case for Christ by Lee Strobel and/or More than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell. Please investigate Christianity with an honest objective approach!

    Scott,
You say the Rapture is fictional and that there is no proof or evidence but I have evidence. It says in the Holy Bible in Revalation it clearly and truly states, that Jesus Christ will come again someday. You just wait! Christian's are not manipulated into believing in God and the Rapture and Jesus Christ. We chose to believe in this you may have a different opinion but I Know in my heart that this is what I believe in.

That's true that that could happen, and they simply decided to build it there, but have you looked at any of the other ones on the other website i sent to you?

You wanted one...well heres a better website, and this one has 100. http://www.100prophecies.org/ and you will most likely find the type that you want under Fulfilled by Israel-Part 1 & 2, Fulfilled by Babylon, Fulfilled by Tyre, Fulfilled by Nineveh, and Fulfilled by other nations.

A website with some events, though most happened a long time ago is http://www.reasons.org/resources/apologetics/prophecy.shtml and one of the more recent ones is this:

The exact location and construction sequence of Jerusalem's nine suburbs was predicted by Jeremiah about 2600 years ago. He referred to the time of this building project as "the last days," that is, the time period of Israel's second rebirth as a nation in the land of Palestine (Jeremiah 31:38-40). This rebirth became history in 1948, and the construction of the nine suburbs has gone forward precisely in the locations and in the sequence predicted.

This is true that I myself can't prove that there is only one. The Bible however is mainly proven true by the fact that things are predicted in the Bible that are proving to be true today. The Bible explains to us The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The one true God that I follow actually is the same as the person's who 'stands next to you at church'. God doesn't serve my purposes and no one elses. The only thing anybody needs is the gift from Jesus, eternal life. God made the universe. That right there shows that He is all powerful.

There is only one God. I completely agree that God is moral, and that we just misunderstand His teachings. Are you saying that God is not omnipotent? He is all powerful, but He gives us a choice. Everyone doesn't just understand. He gives Christians a job to teach others about Him.
