Have you gone to see "The Dark Knight" yet? Good Stuff... but scary!
Hey! I see you have a Laurie Notaro book on your shelf. I started a group for her books. If you want to join, the group is at www.shelfari.com/groups/26122/aboutHope to see you there!!!
Hey honey,Went through my notebook & I have some titles that you asked me to write down for you and also some I thought you'd be interested in:End of food by Paul RobertsZombie Blondes by Brian JamesThe Ten-Cent Plague by David HajduCheerio!
thanks for thinking of me, Sean.
Well I think I have to figure out how this thing-y works. :P Thanks for inviting me!Btw, I always suspected your ears were book ends...lol.
You should check out "The Gospel According to Super Heroes." Literally. They have it at the university library.
Hi, Sean! Nice to meet you :-)
I will keep my fingers crossed about the NKOTB tickets... it would be so much fun to go.
You're over 1000 now!!!! I hope my computer doesn't crash looking at all these titles on your shelves!
Let me also add that in contrast to The Walking Dead, The Road focuses on a very specific type of relationship as a driving force for survival. In TWD, the author focuses on group and social problems in the context of exploring the human condition in a bigger sense--with many different problems and relationships all interacting and affecting the survival of the group. I just felt like The Road was too vague at times when it needed to be specific, and sometimes vice versa. Beautifully written, though.
I wrote a review, too. Just hover over the book on my shelf and you should be able to read why I only gave it 2. It's a good book, I guess, but not as great as I thought it would be.
haha! After I wrote that note to Annie I actually looked at your profile. Holy crap that is a lot of reading! I am only listing books that I read voluntarily, or that I really liked after being required to read them. Also, I read a LOT of stuff in elementary school and such that I don't remember well enough to rate it, so I'm not listing that either. Looks like my age is working against me, even though I read way more than most people. You are way ahead of me, but I will catch up! And thanks about the picture. I was vampirizing myself :P
holy guacamole! You have a ton of books on your shelf already! It will take me awhile to get to that point... every day I walk through the bookstore and I'm reminded that I have to add a book to shelfari... it's addictive.
Wow you have a ton of books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
