    Hi Ladydi!

If you're looking for books on the art of writing itself, I'd suggest you check out "A Writer's Space" by Eric Maisel & "A Writer's Time" by Kenneth Atchity
These are quick reads full of tips and tricks to get the process running.

If you're looking more on the marketing and promotion side, I'd recommend the following titles (almost all of which I have posted reviews for):
    - Plug Your Book by Steve Weber
    - Book Marketing from A to Z by Francine Silverman
    - Book Marketing DeMystified by Bruce T. Batchelor
    - The Frugal Book Promoter by Carolyn Howard-Johnson

If you'd like to learn how to market your books online, I've written a series of articles on my website to help guide you: http://tiny.cc/rjyai

My book is doing fairly well, thank you for asking :)

    All the best!

I suggest Paths of Glory, that was the first one of his I read and I really liked it. Though Prisoner of Birth is good as well.

I only read the first Twilight book - got bored with her constantly falling into the victim role (though her character was a fun read). I may one day return to the series, but it's not on my list at present. The other series you mentioned sounds cool though. I recently saw a commercial for the HBO series and wondered where the basis lay. Have you already read them?

I'll be at 70 soon - finished Son of Wicked - didn't like it as well as the 3rd in the series. I was glad to be done with it. Poor Elphie.

Have you read anything by Jodi Picoult? I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews.

Feelin' fine - no problems at all. Getting a couple of little flutters or minor jolts occasionally, but not even all that much. Really looking forward to NC (as always): escape from the heat; probably my last week-long vacation for a few years; and of course seeing family! Not sure what condition I'll be in at that time, but it's only 2 months away now.

I'll bet you've read a lot more books than that :) Sites like these are fun, but making your online library thorough can be tedious.
