I would say I loved it but it was so sad and brutal...but.... I could not stop reading it...like watching a car crash...deep, cold, and moving.

Loved it...If you can overlook the slightly cheezy romance parts, lots of action and excitement...truely one wild adventure story. I plan to read the entire series this summer/fall.

OK, I know this guy is a saint, but I found the second half of the book dull and hard to read.

OK, So I know this book got great reviews, but I only got halfway through before giving up on it, so technically, I guess I did not read it, but I thought it was very sad and very slow.

Wow, This was a quick read. (I finished it in 3 days!). It was moving and a very sad reflection of human nature and suffering, but still, somehow, a pleasure to read. It's written from a mans perspective, which I don't usually like..but this book was an exception. I would highly reccommend it.
