That's great! Oregon is a gorgeous place. Haha and I think Greg would make a great elementary teacher! I finished my degree last spring :) I'm still living in RI, I work for the state dept of environmental management with mosquito monitoring and research, the internship is coming to end so I'm looking around for new jobs!
I did not like the way the giver ended. I guess there is another follow up book and would be interested in it. I thought it started out so strong, but then became silly and corney. Kellermans are mysterys-His involve a gay cop and a psychiatrist that contract with the police to solve crimes. Hers involve a cop and his jewish wife solving crimes but also involve their family life. I think we have almost everything both have written.
Yes, you would LOVE water for elephants. It does have an elderly gentleman as the main character but most of the book is written in flash back and the ending is wonderful-not really sad. I know how touched you can get with elderly folks- i am pretty sure you would love this book-mom tell Greg i am now reading his book- i just am struggling with the coffee trader and ready for a bit of history.... mom
I finished Glass Castle and it was fabulous. I definitely recommend it! I am reading Twilight right now... It's the first book in a series about teenage vampires. it is surprisingly awesome! I can't put it down!! Mallory had a great recommendation!
hello lovely sister. It'll probably be a while before I finish Map of the World. I started it, and I am remembering the movie as I read, so it is making it not as exciting... I am reading The Glass Castle right now though, and it is FABULOUS. I can't put it down. It is hillarious and slightly reminds me of our childhood... You've gotta read it! Love you!
hi sissy, thanks for the messages. this is kinda fun... hehe. I am reading Tuesdays with Morrie right now... it's really sad. the guy has Leu Gherigs disease so it is incredible sad... but it's very good so far. How are you? What romance novel are you reading right now? miss you.
sounds like fun books.. The stand is very thought provoking when thinking about what if almost everyone died??? The survivors could just go into any house/store and get what they needed...... Also it poses the issue of basic human need for other humans.... they all struggle to come together. The evil entity in the book is kinda iffy but definately a well worth read. glad you like the time travelers wife.. i REALLY enjoyed that one... mom
Yes they're romantic/comedy books, I would suggest "Impulsive" and "Horizons". She a good writer, hope you'll enjoy reading them.
Stardust of Yesterday by Lynn Kurland is the best, it's about A Ghost who reluctantly falls in love with the descendant of his killer. It's so good, you have paranormal, romance, comedy, and drama! try it
