How are things? Long time, no talk it seems! Did you finish your exams? How did they go? Well, I would have visited you sooner but I've been sick with cold and fever symptoms and haven't been online as much. I am still trying to recover from whatever this is I have. I hope you are healthy and doing well Sumeet! Have you read anything good or are you still just busy with school? Anyway, I've been trying to avoid the computer screen because it has been bringing me headaches looking at it. So thought I'd check up on ya real quick!!

    Hey again Sumeet!

Just finished reading The Amaranth Enchantment by Julie Berry. LOVED it! Kind of a spin-off of a Cinderella tale but to me much more entertaining. I gave it five stars and put it as a favorite! It was that good!! Now I am reading Coffeehouse Angel by Suzanne Selfors.

Hope the exams are going well!

How are your exams going Nothing Girl? I hope they're not causing too much stress!! Did you enjoy the weekend? Mine was really busy but fun!! Took the kids trick or treating around the town I grew up near and rode on a hay trailer. We even got a new dog! Yeah, someone had dumped a dog at my dad's house and my dad couldn't keep it because he already has too many dogs, so we took him home with us. He's a great dog and really good with the kids! But wow, he is a monsterously HUGE dog! A great dane that reminds me a lot of Scooby-Doo. lol. We call him Brutus. I hope he sticks around the house and stays with us! Anyway, good luck with those exams!

And I finished reading Raven... it was an easy, fast read. It was pretty good, not bad. Anyway, have a good one!

Hi Sumeet! So you're busy with your studies? Yeah... me too of course! I don't get to read anything fun as often 'cause of it! You sound very very busy with exams and stuff! Eeeek! Good luck with that!! That's great that you got to read A Kiss in Time! Yep, I thought it was a really good read too!! I recently won a book online last week! I can't believe I actually WON something!!! I haven't won anything since I was like a little girl!! But yeah, I won a book and the got an autograph from the author and she sent me the book through the mail. So, how is The Lost Symbol going? Oh, but yeah, Rampant is really good! The author really knows how to write and she really keeps you on the edge of your seat. Great book! I think now I am on the verge of reading Raven by Allison Van Diepen. That is if I get some free time here and there! Anyway, great to hear from ya!

Wow, sorry I'm getting back to you so late. I didn't even see the note until I looked at my public profile. Tithe is about a girl named Kaye who has always been able to make strange things happen that she can't really explain. When she was a little girl she played with three small faeries; Gristle, Lootie-lu, and Spike. When she leaves the city to live in her childhood home with her grandmother she tries to find her faerie friends. When looking for them she finds a wounded faerie knight whom she helps and he in turn becomes indebted to her. Soon she finds out that he is the most feared knight in all of Faerie because he belongs to the Unseelie queen. Kaye's friends soon ask a great favor of her and take her to the Thistle Witch who tells her that she is a faerie changeling. Then you have to read it to find out the rest because I don't want to give it all away. ;)

That's cool that you got a copy of A Kiss in Time! I got mine from the library and I need to bring it back. How is the Lost Symbol going? Still interesting? Well, I am still in the middle of North of Beautiful. I am struggling in one of my English classes and I have put all my time into it instead of fun reading lately. The professor just grades really harsh and well... she makes me feel small. She's just rude and most my other classmates are not doing well in her class either. But, yeah, that's life for ya! I'd rather be reading something good than putting up with a rude professor.

Hey, I just finished A Kiss in Time... good, cute fairytale story. Definitely worth a read! It's a very simple read, but still very cute and entertaining! Read it if you get the chance.. You would enjoy it especially if you're into fairytales! Now I am about to start reading North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley. What are you up to Sumeet???

Ooh, sounds interesting. It's funny, I haven't read Pride ans Prejudice. Even though it's on of Jane Austen's best known works. Lesley Castle was good. Tithe is a modern faerie tale. It's really great Kind of a darker faerie tale though. Those are the kind of books I like to read, faerie tales.

Yeah, actually, so far it's really good! Funny in some parts and interesting in others. I haven't really felt a connection with the main characters yet, but maybe it's just me. But it's really a cute story like a fairytale should be! Makes me want to read more and more to see what happens next and that's always important!!

Ooh! Mansfield Park sounds interesting and so does Northanger Abbey. i don't think I've heard of The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown though. Picking a favorite book is difficult but I HAD to choose then I would say Tithe by Holly Black. The whole series is my favorite actually. Her style of writing pulls you in and I love it. What about you, what would your favorite book be?

This is what the description of A Kiss in Time is about: (It's a fairytale story really)...

"What if "Sleeping Beauty" wasn't woken up by a prince in her own time, but instead was awakened by a guy in an Old Navy t-shirt from the 21st century? Well that is exactly what happens in Alex Flinn's "A Kiss In Time".

Jack, a normal teenage guy from Miami, was shipped off to Europe by his parents who (hoping he'd follow in his dad's footsteps) thought he needed some more culture. Tired of the monotonous museum tours, he and his buddy Travis sneak off to find a beach, but instead find a relic of a town hidden deep in the woods near France. Thinking that it was an abandoned amusement park, they begin to explore until they realize that there are people around and what's even stranger, they're all in a dead sleep. Unable to wake them or resist exploring the castle, Jack finds a girl asleep in a hidden part of the castle and is immediately mesmerized by her beauty. He cannot take his eyes off her and decides, what can one little kiss hurt?

Princess Talia of Euphrasia had been warned countless times about touching spindles, but one day she falls prey to the cursed spindle and falls asleep for 300 years along with the rest of her kingdom. She and her world became a lost memory; that is until that fateful kiss...

And as the fairytale goes, the kiss broke the spell and Talia woke up to find a very confused Jack!

Talia, believing that Jack woke her because he is her one true love vows to make him fall in love with her and Jack, at 17 yrs old, is not about to deal with a bratty princess who thinks she's 316 years old...let alone marry her!"

Nobody's Prize is pretty good just like the first one Nobody's Princess. One doesn't seem to be better than the other. A tie I guess!

Actually, I am kind of struggling in my classes.. :(
hopefully I will pass and get thru it okay still!

Hey Sumeet! So you finished The Godfather? Did you like it? I am still reading Nobody's Prize but towards the end. I've been busy sorting out fall/winter clothes for the kids and keeping up in my classes, so it's been busy. How are your classes going?
