Dear Mini,Old people are a treasure trove of history, family and otherwise, which must be preserved. Also,after they go, people talk of dividing property and separate and sometimes, there are disputes.With time, lifestyles change and family ties become weaker.In our family, most people are dying in their 60s and 70s, with heart disease. My sister died at 80 with Alzheimer's disease, and her last few months were very difficult.I have one surviving uncle who is 92, and his mental faculties are still intact. Old people must be valued and looked after.I was less active on Shelfari due to Ramadan, but now, i am back. Regards.
