A book lover to the core. I find reading is the best form of escapism! I am an English teacher and love to share my love of books with my students. I like to read books that challenge my perspective on the world and the people in it!

Hi Steph! Thank you for the PD on Shelfari. Sound like an engaging record keeping activity for students and teachers to do. I have enjoyed your enthusiasm about the books you have read. Maria

    Hey Ms James,

I read a bit of Crime and Puniishment on the weekend, but I think I should wait a lyear or so before I try it again. Have you read it?

I'm reading High Fidelity now. My dad loves Nick Hornby, and I've read a few of his books so Dad leant it to me. It's good, but I'm not very far in.

No i haven't read any other books by John Steinbeck and the only reason i read of mice and men is because i had to :)
umm.. well i dont enjoy reading because i usually dont finish books if they're boring and choosing books to read is annoying especially in the library. I think this site is in a way encouraging me to read more so i guess thats a start. Well i think i've discovered that i like books about reality so i have one book in my plan to read called 'Before I Die' by Jenny Downham that i need to look for somewhere... and i hope i've answered all your questions!

see you on thursday i think!

    Hi Ms. James,

Yeah I saw the movie Memoirs of a Geisha...and the books are always better than the movies so I figured I'd read it =)
I have absolutely no idea what genres interest me...I guess I like books that make me think...and I really like Shakespeare -even if some of it is gibberish =)
