"Look, our forefathers died for the "pursuit of happiness," okay? Not for the "sit around and wait of happiness." Now if you want, we can go to the same bar, drink the same beer, talk to the same people every day or you can lick the Liberty Bell. You can grab life by the crack and lick the crap out of it."

My response to "The Heart..." was not what I'd expected so I've set out to find out if I'm in the minority. I'd just say read it when you have the urge, when you're in the mood. There's no need to give it priority. If and when you write a review, I'll be interested in reading it. Thanks.

Enjoyed your reviews and agree with your opinion of James Patterson. I've come to the conclusion that he may have interesting stories but his "prose" is geared to those with short attention spans -- every sentence perceived as a paragraph and every other page a new chapter. By the way, I'd like to see you review "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter."
