“From the Ladies #1 detective agency author - the first in the series of Isabel Dalhaousie Mystery's. Takes place in Edinburgh and the main character is a nosey, single quirkey academic. She's funny in an intellectual kind of way, though I don't love her nearly as much as Precious from #1 ladies. I'd take this one to the beach - though I'm not sure I'll read further in the series.”
