I'm an author and a reader. But I was a reader first. I grew up on Heinlein, Edgar Rice Burroughs, beat poetry and Shakespeare. I love every genre and can think of nothing better than laying next to a pool with a beer and a book and the hot Arizona sun.

    Glad to make your acquaintance. I see we have a friend or two in common. If you have time, check out the SHORT Stories group, there's an ongoing discussion of the stories from 2007's BASS, edited by Stephen King. We read 2 stories a month, then comment on them and attempt some lively discussion. Would love to hear your input on any of the stories we've read so far or any of the future ones.

    I definitely have a passion for Shakespeare. He wrote so mucb about every day life and the common man, though people who only read him when forced to in school don't seem to see that. The things he writes are entertaining and funny, because they touch on things we've all experienced. Nice to meet someone who also likes Shakespeare.
    And I used to live in AZ. I can think of better things. I moved back home, and returned to tall trees, cold mountain lakes, and green, beautiful green. :)
