I signed up on impulse, partly to read a discussion that I had to log in to read. I don't know how much I will participate, though. We'll see.
I've been to Target, Meijer, and K-mart now, with NO luck. But I'm going to try B&N. I've got a gift certificate, and this seems like a good use for it. Thanks for your offer, though! Appreciate it!
I see you really liked Scandal. I've looked for this book in about 5 places and have yet to find it. Wah!
I am enjoying Wicked Intentions. It's pretty interesting and the sexual politics didn't/aren't bothersome to me. Unless it totally tanks in the last 1/5th I'll probably write a second review for AAR. Can't wait for the Spellmans either! My library doesn't have a copy yet in the catalog, though. I'll have to keep checking.
I agree. She had me until the last 35 pages and then it got steadily sweeter till the epilogue which I barely made it through - too sticky.
I like it too, although I like her characters better when they are being stupid and stunted rather than when they are learning and growing. A look into SEP's world always leaves you feeling upbeat, tho.
You must have really liked Wicked Intentions to give it 5 stars. I may have to check it out. I'm counting down now until Revenge of the Spellmans.
Thanks for the reply. I finished it a couple of days ago, myself. Just was not what I was expecting, I guess, but still enjoyable to me.
I see you are reading the new Tess Gerristen book, the Keepsake. I am almost finished with it myself, and was wondering what you thought about it?
Send me the titles of some good books to read. Reading This Heart of Mine and so far so good.
I read The Spellman Files last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. It just occurred to me to look if Lisa Lutz had anything else out now. And I'm in luck! I just put a hold on it at the library and am looking forward to reading it. This is a book that I really kind of wanted to review, but had a hard time describing why I enjoyed it so much. I wound up telling my mom that it was kind of like the Stephanie Plum set up, but smarter and wittier.
