Hi stranger!
I'm going to broadcast the existence of the Response, Recovery, and Survival group so that Shelfari members with a need for a place to talk can do so. I don't know if there'll be any takers, but people will at least know there's a Shelfari place for them. It sure helped me with Hurricane Ike and my family was not even one of the ones who suffered major damage to our lives.

Take care too, Karen! I'm happy that you and Karen K are now back in circulation. I've missed hearing bits and pieces of your life there. Well, my husband and I might go to Tacoma, WA comes August to attend a wedding of my niece. Depends upon a lot of things though. I hope to be hearing a lot from you in the next days. God bless you!

I actually read a cozy series! Although I believe she may write more, Mary Stanton writes a clever series about a young woman who inherits her great-uncle's law firm. It turns out that her clients are actually dead people! She still needs to maintain her "normal" firm in the city and it turns out that her cases for her living clients are somehow always intertwined with the cases of the dead clients!
Still got my book??? As long as it is in your hands or Karen's hands I am fine with that.

Hello Karen. I know I haven;t been active in the discussions recently. For one, I was hospitalized for 3 days last December due to pneumonia of which i'm still recuperating. Guess it takes a long time to finally recover. I fact this morning I went to see my pulmonologist for check up. I miss you and my friends in Shelfari, Karen. I just want to be the first to greet you advance Happy birthday on Saturday. Here's wishing you have a great day with your loved ones!
