I really liked this book. It is very encouraging and serves to remind us that we all have gifts that we've been given by God and that we should use them to build up one another. The only part about this book is that it starts out being sort of autobiographical, but then changes to a novel. It's hard to pick out the real part from the not so real. It was confusing for me. After I accepted that this was really a novel, it was a very enjoyable and uplifting read.

This book was said to be kind of controversial. Not for me. I loved it and will probably reread it periodically.

This is a great book and it is very valuable because it contains a checklist to help diagnose the problems that he discusses in the book. After you identify an issue it gives a bunch of helpful things that you can do to help the disorders including meds, supplements, music, movies, aromatherapy and some other things that you might not normally consider.

  • The Switching Hour: Kids of Divorce Say Good-bye Again

This book takes a very personal look at the lives of children of divorce. This book will help you examine the very destructive and lasting toll that us taken upon children that are ferried back and forth between parents, step-parents, grandparents and others as part of their new life after divorce. We are doing incredible harm to our children just because we've embraced the age of the no-fault divorce.
