"Man's mind once stretched by a new idea....never regains its original dimensions"....thats how its been working out for me..Reading so many books was fine at one level..but now that i have come across this place where you can indulge into discussions and play the critics takes it to a whole new definition and i thoroughly enjoy it.
As a reader, i realize many would wonder in this world that wot makes a great writer or what makes a person express himself/herself so well that his/her novel becomes a best seller...i wonder if the writer thinks of his every work as the best work or he/she is awake all night before the newspapers lay out the results of the exam...is it really like that???
Reading books has given me this power to "wonder"...and now i have started feeling that if one does not...how does one broaden his/her horizon...Does a writer believe in the fact that whatever he has tried to tell to the world is this zest to ask them to look from his/her eyes...do they really care...
The answer does not seem to be so simple but i learnt it to make it simple..
None are born with this innate quality to be a writer or none have the influence to make you one...it is this desire which makes you express in a million different ways..i am not a writer but i am an expressionist...some might call me illusionist or suffering from one...but i have understood one fact that if i wonder it creates the most important personality out of these questions....."ME"...
I may not be a voracious reader or i may not be very good to refer you a book..because for me all it matters is to learn and evolve more the art of using the language as a medium to define yourself...your moments your expressions..
Come to think about it...its a path on which i have preferred to walk and the stream of words flows next to me and i walk on its shore...there is no destination just the zest and the urge to put my thoughts in front of my eyes and to see a world which i now know it exists....i just need to define it...
Started with fiction and thanx to many of my dad's collection that i got interested in reading...started to bring out my own taste in picking up specific books but i guess its still random..too much of travelling i gotta do so i guess too many books will come along the way...
