I actually liked the book of the beginning, but then after he goes to the shack and see's God, I lost it. I just skimmed through the rest of the book. The portrayal of God and Jesus wasn't what my mind wanted to relate to. I don't want to ruin it for you, so I won't say more. I would say, Listen to it and then decide. My mom and her friends absolutely loved it.

I really liked both the Goose Girl and Enna Burning. The Goose Girl is such a sweet fairy tale story. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Enna Burning was great also. The next one is River Secrets. I am excited to get started on that one. Shannon Hale has written other books too. The Princess Academy sounds really good too.
