Books are the legacies that a great genius leaves to mankind, which are delivered down from generation to generation, as presents to the posterity of those who are yet unborn.
-Joseph Addison : The Spectator, No. 166-
Reading is like eating peanuts: Once you begin, you tend to go on & on.
Reading is an adventure, when you go with the poets into the realms of fancy & imagination; you see life with the novelist; you go down to the sea in ships & unto the ends of the earth with the great explorers; the scientist takes you into his laboratory; in biography you are let into the mystery of men's lives; the historian reconstructs the past & gives you glimpses of the future, and the philosopher gives you a glimpse of his wisdom. -Holbrook Jackson-
During my younger years, I got to read Dr Seuss, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High &Twins, Sweet Dreams, Mills & Boons, Harlequin & Silhouette Romance. & I own these books actually. Now i'm still piling up & they keep getting bigger & bigger! I just love them 'cause they're my best friends. They keep me company & refreshes me immediately. Also, It can make you laugh or cry, & in the long run, you not only find out about the world & the people in it: You can find out about yourself too.
So keep reading & enjoy every minute of it.
