“The concept seemed solid but the story was horrid. It jumped from setting to setting without much transition, the characters weren't developed, and the idea of an urban accent that didn't seem to follow through left much to be desired. I stopped reading after 50 pages because I couldn't take it. The character of Lilith caught my attention, Lucifer was intriguing but the heroes left much to be desired. If one has heroes shouldn't one explain them early on in the story so the reader can get a feel for them. Evn if this wasn't the first in the series should have been more background. ”
