You mentioned _Love in the Driest Season_ in a note you sent me - I forgot to mention it when I wrote back. It is a remarkable book about adoption, race, politics and so much more. It was so genuine and the writing is great - I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Hi, Jennifer. Thanks for the note. Why don't you check out the group called Celebrate Adoption: Stories from the Heart. I am the very proud mom of two great kids who were adopted and I started that group to meet others and collect a great list of books and references. It isn't exactly an active group, discussion-wise, but there are very good books! You can join w/o being an adoptive parent, so please join if you'd like to.You said you worked in the foster care system? What do you do?Hope to hear from you again.Michelle
