Just a quick line to recommend this site, I think it is one of the best book discussion programs availablehttp://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/arts/bookclub/
Haha, thanks for your witty response to my question. Amazingly I have none of the things you mentioned to distract me, so I will read it soon. :)
I am a middle school English teacher and spend my summers reading teen fiction. I am always looking for books that will infuse some excitement in our school's summer reading program. This Shelfari page is student oriented. I hope to post another page for my electic selections. P.S. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio. Go BUCKS!
I started a group called Read-a-Likes, and I'm trying to get some active readers involved in the group to help create lists of, well, read-a-likes. The group is small as I just started it the other day and only have a few posts, but I'd really like to get some more active members that can help create these lists. I think that it would come in handy for other members that are looking for some helpful readers advisory. Check out the group if you're interested: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/26266/about (i think that might work, haha). Again, the group's name is Read-a-likes.ThanksK.
