NOTE: When I signed up, I did not realize that this is an Amazon run site. At heart, I'm a reader concerned with declining reading rates among Americans. Less than half of adults opened a book last year. If Amazon means more people read, I appreciate that. But, in the interest of community-mindedness, I must encourage you to visit your local bookstore first, if you have one. You'll find much better educated staff, a broader selection from more publishers, local authors you won't find at the big guys, as well as exceptional customer service. One other thing, for every $100 spent in a locally-owned store, $63 goes back to the community, $33 from a chain and $0 from an internet purchase. In these hard times, shouldn't we all be supporting our communities?
