Harry Potter doesn't count? Not a lot about faeries, either. My creature of preference in fantasy is the dragon.
Yes you are right no SW,pfft...I have heard of it but cannot remember the name ..it was TOS I grew up with, and have in my possesion the whole 3 series, plus the 1963 pilot, which had not made it on to the tvland
I decide wihich conventions I work. I won't be doing GEEX. I hadn't heard of it until right before it was held.
Thanks for the headsup about Phantom of the Opera. That's just one of those classics that I've never read and I've been trying to get to some of them lately. I know it's not a unicorn but I just love the picture. The horse is gorgeous and I love blues. I see you've read FireBringer. I read that a few years ago and have thought about trying it again. Have you read his book The Sight? It has a sequel that came out a couple of months ago called Fell. I haven't read either of them yet but hopefully they will get to the top of my TBR pile one of these days and I will get them read.
I do have the unicorn trilogy by Pearce. It's called the Firebringer Trilogy. I clicked the wrong button one day and lost over 50 book listings on my shelf. I'm still trying to figure out what all I'm missing and the Firebringer Trilogy was one of them. Thanks because now I have it back on my shelf. I've never read it just too many other books to choose from. Keep thinking that one of these days I will read it. I've always loved horses. Riding them, reading about them, watching movies,,,anything horses! I've never had the opportunity to own my own horse though. And naturally since I like horses I also like unicorns and winged horses.
I was surprised to read that. Perchance you need to write a horse story and then make it a unicorn.
Hi! Glad to have you around that group, having similar thoughts on Gatsby. You own a large shelf , very different from mine!
Thanks! I've always related to her as well. When the movie first came out, I remember deciding that I was going to Belle when I grew up. XDAs far as favorite authors go, I have...a lot. King would definitely be one, though I don't think I've read Critchton since high school. I read a bunch of his books after seeing Jurassic Park but then just stopped with him. George R.R. Martin is one of my current obsessions, and I'm also going through a Mercedes Lackey binge again (I seem to do that every few years!). ^_^
Thank you! Actually, I think your name is beautiful and interesting! It looks Welsh, or something. Where did you get it from?
Good to see you found this place and me! Welcome, welcome! Take a look at my groups and see if any tickle your fancy. I have one or two that deal with fantasy. There are a lot on here that deal with fantasy.
