So I didn't get to talk to you today. Where are you and what do you think? Have you gotten to the name yet?
I'm as through as I can get with Breaking Dawn...can't wait for you to finish so we can discuss! Moving on to my book club book.
I did get your recommendation...how'd you do it?
Sounds like its right up my alley, I like the romance factor. What's your favorite sci-fi book?
Hi Kathleen. Thanks for being my friend :) It looks like you read some sci-fi, I kind of want to start reading some. A couple of people suggested the Outlander series to me so I got the first one but haven't read it yet. Have you read?
I was looking at my shelf and I read the same authors over and over again! I never thought about it before!
Let's see if it works!
Hi Kathleen. I tried to friend you, but I'm not sure that I did it right. Give me a trie if I screwed up. *G*Frances
Well, you want to talk about a guilty pleasure, that is Hamilton. The first couple of the Anita Blake series are like a mix of fantasy, action-adventure, mystery, and a bit of romance; I really enjoyed them. Then they become well, descriptive. But I went along for the ride to see where the story went. I actually like the Merry Gentry series better. More concise. Not so much inner torment/dilemma.I am enjoying the Historian.
You have a lot of books that look interesting. I can't seem to add all the books I have read...takes a while. So I have only added the latest, and then the Jordan books, too. I recalled them when I browsed your shelf. I think I will read something from your list next, something from your favorites I think. Before diving into the Hamilton series, it was a long dry spell since the last read. I can't recall... Oh it was the Americanization of Benjamin Franklin by Gordon Wood. Can you blame me for the indulgence in Hamilton?
I have been thinking about reading the Meyer books. They catch my eye at the bookstore. But I don't know if it is just good marketing that is attracting me. Did you like them? I see you rated the first with 5 stars, but then went down-hill. I have been into Laurell Hamilton's faerie series. They are a fun summer read.
