I've always been an avid reader and now, as a travelling consultant, I have plenty of airport and airplane time to read.

I enjoy books of all types including classics, historical fiction, and mystery to name a few. I share books with friends and family, so this site is a good way for me to keep track of everything I've read. more »

Hi Sara! Welcome to PBT! I noticed that you recently joined our group and, having joined only a few months ago myself, know that the many activities and posts can be overwhelming! Let me start by giving you a brief overview of what activities PBT has going on right now. Every month, a tag from the top 200 Shelfari tags is chosen, July's tag is fairy tales. After you read a book that is tagged fairy tales or even a book that you think fits the tag (we're not too picky) then post it on the thread entitled July tag: collective reads for our shelf. Feel free to look through this thread also to see what others have read, ask questions, or chime in with your thoughts. Lots of great discussion starts here.

We started a new game at the beginning of the month: Tag it to the Max. This game is a bit more detailed but the general idea is that you sign up if you are interested, the administrator of PBT assigns you a random starting tag from the top 200 Shelfari tags, and then you read one book per tag as you work your way alphabetically through the list. There are lots of little side rules, etc and you can find all of these if you search our discussion for Rules for tag it to the max. Then, if you are interested in joining, you can sign up on the thread sign up for tag it to the max.

You can also learn more about the group by searching the discussions for FAQ new members. And the final way to learn more is to ask me! Feel free to ask if you have questions or need direction. :) I noticed lots of Philippa Gregory nooks on your shelf. I really like her wives of Henry VIII books but haven't read any of her others. How do you think they compare?

    See you on PBT!

    Happy reading,
    Nicole
