Hey Juliet. I would highly recommend continuing the series. It all works out. :) The author is a great believer in making things end happily. http://www.ljanesmith.net/index.php is her official site where she has some free excerpts and short stories to tide you over till the next one is released. I will freely admit that the secret circle is one of my favorites of hers.

Hi, I’m JC. I’m writing because the founder of our group “Spookypsycho”
Emma Ai, has completely disappeared from the shelfari site. And I am now listed as founder of the group. While that was never my intention, I do think that she had a great idea for a group. So I want to try to make a go of the site.
I’m not much of a chat room/posting type person, but since we are currently the only members of the group, any input on books that would be good for our shelf will be helpful.

Anyway about me I do love similar books as you, and I really loved “Beast house” series’. Richard Laymon is a unique writer. Though most people think he a little to graphic, I really like his work. Lately I’ve been on a Dean Koontz kick, but I hope to get in more of Laymon’s work.

Well the Uglies series does have little bits of romance. Not a ton though its more about survival. Great series. She has to choose between two boys in the second book. (bit of a spoiler)

Laurel Hamilton's books...You mean the Anita Blake series? I have yet to start it. I read a couple of the Meredith Gentry Series and it got to ex-rated that There was no story really. I don't think I will continue that series. Everyone Says Anita Blake series is great though and I do plan on reading that one.

    Happy Reading!!

You got to love miss Kara Thrace, I just love her beautifully damaged self. Plus snark and her penchant for attracting beautiful men (hello Lee and Anders!) I too am a big BSG fan. Can't wait to see the panel at Comic Con this year. Good to meet you and hopefully we'll have lots to discuss in the future. Ciao.

    Juliet,

Heres' a whacky idea: why not read Confessions of a Pagan Nun WITH your mom. Don't get too into a discussion about it. It is a very interesting look at how paganism was usurped by catholicism, but it isn't vicious in any way. Le tme know what happens!

Oh yeah, I love BSG! Starbuck is great and Admiral Odama. Gaius Baltar is HILARIOUS! And the Chief! ♥! It's been 2 weeks since they aired an episode-do you know when they'll start again? What was the last episode you watched?

I enjoy Twilight. I picked the book a few times and put it down long before I got on shelfari but after hearing so much about it here, I decided to read it. I do enjoy. It's silly to pretend I don't. They're not the best written books but her style of writing suits Bella POV. Before that, I didn't read very many series books, only stand alone books so I'm really just now getting into them. I've read the first JR Ward book which is okay, I have book 2 already. I've read Minion but probably won't read anymore of that series. I loved, loved, loved Halfway to the Grave! That will be the one I continue. I already have One Foot in the Grave, just waiting a bit to start it.

Juliet, thanks for accepting my friens request. You have a great shelf of books. It's amazing you have read so many books already. I am twice your age and haven't read that many. Though I always liked to read I hadn't become that serious about it until 3 or 4 years ago. I think I will be reading some of the ones on your shelf. Thanks, Melissa :-)
