I am a strong women accepting the decisions God has made in my life. I am a wife madly in love with her husband, a step mom to a grounded sixteen year old boy. I love my girlfriends for who they are and not what they do for me (even if it is a lot). I greatly miss my newborn baby that is now my angel. He has put me on a new course in life... more »

Dear Snavas: I am an author from Massachusetts. My debut novel HUNTING THE KING was published in April. If you enjoy reading a good thriller like DA VINCI CODE, you may enjoy HUNTING, too. HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.” Molly O’Dwyer is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious background who’s about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heart-pounding book trailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting.

You can find it on Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think.

    Thanks. Peter.

Interesting. Its amazing the percentage of us that come out "normal" with all the things that can go wrong.

    Dear Steph,
Wow, my heart aches whenever I hear of someone losing a baby. And this happened quite recently for you. I APPLAUD you for doing just was is best for healing, and that is finding something meaningful to do that is a connection with the little one that has died. Being active with the PKD foundation seems a perfect way to bring something positive out of your pain. I'm sure Sean loves that you are using your love for him to help others, and it will keep him close to you.
In 1991 my oldest daughter died in a car accident. She was eight years old. She and I had especially loved reading stories together, and during the emotional turmoil after she died, I noticed that the only time I felt any peace was when I was working on writing stories. I came to believe this was a connection between her and me, and it has developed into a couple of spiritual novels for older children and also a small publishing/printing company by my husband and I. This path has sustained us, and has brought meaning out of that loss.
I'm happy to have you as a new friend on Shelfari. God bless.

A New Earth is still going slowly. Probably because right after we got off the phone, a friend called and wanted to go grab a beer. So I put the book down and went to get a beer! ha ha. Oh well, I will have plenty of time to read while I am recovering. I think the 22nd is Tuesday and I think still in ICU...so make sure you come on the 23rd. Love you!!

    Lamb is okay...not his best.
Read "The Shack" by William Young for a better discussion of J as human. UPLIFTING - for u esp re: your Angel son. Lamb is humor.... you'd need a sense of humor.
ANYWAY --- A DIRTY JOB is DEFINITELY Moores Best. Trust me!
