I think Inkheart is great. When i read it two years ago (and I don't even like fantasy books without Harry in it) I wasn't disappointed. =)

No worries. :) Inkheart is a wonderful read for people who just love books. You can tell from Cornelia Funke's descriptions that books are in her soul.

Hiya Theo. I agree with Clarisse T. If you've read Inkheart (and Inkspell) then Inkdeath is a must. You would have to have read Inkspell first to really get the gist of Inkdeath's plot. If you've read the first two books in the trilogy you'll find yourself on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns that happen in Inkdeath.

Hi, Theo....Did you read Inkheart? If you did & you enjoyed it then you absolutely should read Inkspell & then Inkdeath. Ms. Funke continues on with the same main characters as before and brings in many more, the favorite of which for me, is Dustfinger. He alone is worth the read. She gives every character so much depth and so many dimensions that it is often difficult to form a firm opinion about anyone. The themes that are prevalent throughout the book; life and death, fate vs. free will, that it keeps one pondering on the characters, something not too many young adult fiction books can do. I have recommended it often to the students in the high school library where I work and they consistently have enjoyed it. We can't keep her books on the shelves. Good reading!
