I am a 25-year-old gal from IL. I love to read, see movies and hang with friends. I tend to obsess about any given musical artist at a time. Right now, Halestorm. Next week? Who knows?

I am also kinda addicted to the internet, LOL. I do myspace, facebook and watch a lot of internet tv. My favorite shows are Buffy the Vampire Slayer,... more »

  • The Duke And I (Avon Romantic Treasure)
    • Rated 5 stars

Daphne and Simon's story is funny and extremely well written. Simon hates his father, and has decided to never marry. But after he compromises his best friend's sister, he has no choice but to marry her. The Bridgerton family is entertaining and well worth reading.

  • Undead and Unwed

My all-time favorite vampire book. I love it! Betsy Taylor was hit by a car, and rose as a vampire. And not just any vampire! She is the Queen of all the vampires.

But Betsy didn't ask for the job. All she wants to do is shoe shop, so it is up to the sexy Sinclair to help her realize her place.

  • Royal Treatment
    • Rated 5 stars

Hysterical story taking place in an alternate reality! Instead of Alaska becoming part of the US, it became it's own country complete with a royal family. But this royal family is unlike anything we've ever heard of before! The king likes to take off and fish in cognito with his subjects and the Crown Prince is too busy studying penguins to pay attention to women. But when the king meets feisty American Christina, he knows it is a match made in Heaven.

  • Acheron

Finally! We learn about Acheron, and it was kind of a tough read.

Born to gods, raised by hateful humans, and then forced to subjugate himself to the worst of human existence, Acheron really rises from the lowest of low to make a life for himself. I liked Tory in Dream-Hunter, and I was so happy to see Acheron finally find someone to love him for himself.

  • Fearless Fourteen
    • Rated 4 stars

Not as funny as 13, but still a great read.

Lula had me cracking up, as did Brenda. Ranger needs help providing security for Brenda, an aging rock star with a penchant for men, drugs, and booze. She comes complete with her own stalker and even Ranger is terrified of her.

Lula decides she wants to marry Tank, and the thought of this causes the man to faint. In front of Ranger. I was laughing out loud.

Excellent premise here! This book contains three short stories about three friends who dare each other to go into the new sex shop and pick up a man.

Unfortunately for them, the guys they work with catch on to their plan. They decide to make their play for the women they want.

    Very funny and sexy!

When Ophelia's best friend was murdered and her powers as a witch failed her, she vowed never to use them again. But when some strange things start happening around her small town, and bodies start popping up everywhere, she doesn't really have a choice.

    Great new mystery series.
