I am a 25-year-old gal from IL. I love to read, see movies and hang with friends. I tend to obsess about any given musical artist at a time. Right now, Halestorm. Next week? Who knows?

I am also kinda addicted to the internet, LOL. I do myspace, facebook and watch a lot of internet tv. My favorite shows are Buffy the Vampire Slayer,... more »

    Hey Erin!

I see you have Lori Foster's THE WINSTON BROTHERS on your shelf and thought you'd be interested to know she has a brand new Winston story featured in a new anthology.

First Time In Print - DOUBLE THE HEAT

Sizzling all-new stories, including a brand new Winston novella from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster.

New York Times bestselling sensations Lori Foster and Deirdre Martin and USA Today bestselling authors Elizabeth Bevarly and Christie Ridgway join together for this enticing anthology. With authors like this, readers get double the pleasure and double the heat. In these four sexy stories of mixed-up couples and mistaken identities, it's not about winning, but how much you like to play.

With a brand-new novella featuring Hart Winston, whose switch with his identically hot twin brother has landed him in some serious foul play, it's a safe bet that in the game of love no one is going to follow the rules.

    Excerpt at www.LoriFoster.com

If you get a chance to read it, please let Lori and I know what you thought!

They sound like interesting series, I'll pop some of them on my ever expanding wish list.

Some of my favourite series include Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series, Val McDermid's Kate Brannigan series, Michelle Gagnon's Kelly Jones series, Mark Billingham's brilliant Tom Thorne series, Michael Connelly's consistently brilliant Harry Bosch series, Meg Gardiner's Evan Delaney series, Robert Crais' Elvis Cole/Joe Pike series, and lots more!

In case you didn't guess, I read a lot of series books! I've been keeping track of what I've read for quite a few years now, found it very useful too!

I've had Dead Until Dark, my mom got it for me for Christmas. I read it a couple weeks ago. It was good, but I wasn't doing cartwheels over it. But I know from other readers that the series just gets better. Unfortunately, I'm trying to collect the series in hardbacks. So, the rest of the books are on my wish list at paperbackswap and taking awhile. I have been keeping my eyes open at the used book store and I did find bk 7 on sale. I'm just gonna have to patient I guess.

I also read Grave Sight, bk 1 of the Harper Connelly series and I loved it! I have book 2 already for that series and may try to squeeze that one in this month.

City of Bones....I'm like 4 weeks away from finally getting this book from paperbackswap. What did you think of it?

Dead After Dark has been sitting on my shelf at home for awhile. Did you like it?

And I've been dying to get my hands on the Accidental Friends Bk 1...

Well, I like Lara Adrian's Breed Warrior series. It's similar to the BDB books, only not as intense. You might like it better. I also think you'd like Christine Feehan's Carpathian series.

If you want a break from the paranormal, read Sex, Murder & a Double Latte by Kyra Davis. It was a fun read. She also wrote Lust, Loathing & a Little Lip Gloss, Obsession Deceit & Really Dark Chocolate, and Passion, Betrayal and Killer Highlights. Although I haven't had a chance to read the others. They are on my wish list at paperbackswap and I always check the UBS for them, but no luck yet. (I won't let myself pay full price for books anymore unless it's a new release I've been waiting for.)

I find it so interesting that you didn't flip for the BDB series and it is probably my favorite. My books are very, very worn from multiple readings. But at the same time I didn't flip for the Nighthuntress series the way some of my friends did, claiming it as their favorite series.

I'm gonna go check out the Blackbird Sisters series I saw on your shelf....

Hi Erin. I've been wanting to try reading some Lora Leigh but there are so many "series" I don't know where to start. I read your review on the first of the "breed" series and you mentioned that if you haven't read the others she does a good job of filling you in. Where should I start? Which series?

I have not read Dead until Dark yet. Unfortunately, my weekend was too busy. Should I read the grave books first before the other ones ?

Sorry... didn't mean to sneak up on you. There was a comment on shelfari's main page saying you were writing the most reviews. I clicked it and viola. My reading preferences are on the lite side as well. Sci-Fi, Fantasy. Dabble with history, political commentary, and espionage. That's what I love about the Amazon's kindle... I can carry an entire library with me and read whatever I'm in the mood for... Do you have one ?
